In 1983 Micron opened its first office in Sydney Australia, bringing with it quality security products, knowledge and great customer service. Over the next few years, Micron established itself as a major player in the wholesale security industry, providing the best possible product for our customers.

In 1990 Micron became an official distributor for the Bosch range of Solution Alarm Systems. We are very proud of being the longest serving Bosch Security Systems distributor in Australia. We provide outstanding technical support and carry high inventory levels of Bosch alarm panels including the:
Bosch Solution 2000 Alarm System (ideal for residential applications 8 zones),
Bosch Solution 3000 Alarm System (ideal for residential and small commercial applications 16 Zones),
Bosch Solution 6000 Alarm System (ideal for small to medium commercial applications, 16 doors, 144 zones, 40 outputs, 990 users).
Over the years we have expanded our range of products and our long-term relationship with major overseas manufacturers. This has enabled us to also supply our own quality Micron Branded Range of CCTV Systems (powered by UNV), IP Home Video Intercoms, IP Apartment Intercoms and Wiring Hubs for Home Structured Cabling.

Micron has also been distributing an extensive range of ducted vacuum systems including Premier Clean and CycloVac.
In 2014 Micron expanded into Queensland and opened an office and warehouse in Hendra where we used the same philosophy that has made the Sydney branch such a success in the electronic security trade.
